Refund policy

Returns & Refunds
we made this carefully. we packed it carefully. but sometimes things happen in transit and when they do, we've got you.

What we accept
We only accept returns if your order arrives damaged. Every piece leaves us in perfect condition, so if something went wrong on the way to you, we want to make it right.

The one thing we'll need
Please record a clear, uninterrupted video of yourself opening the package — before, during, and after unpacking. This protects you as much as it protects us.
No video, no return. Not because we don't trust you — but because without it we have no way of knowing what happened and where.
we genuinely recommend recording every unboxing, just in case.

How to raise a return
If your order arrives damaged — DM us on Instagram @tryingliving.store or email tryingliving.store@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number and the unboxing video. We'll get back to you within 24 hours.

What happens next
Once we receive the damaged item back, your refund will be initiated immediately — returned to the same account or payment method used at checkout. No redirects, no store credit unless you'd prefer it.
Shipping the item back to us is at the customer's cost upfront — but once we receive the package and confirm the damage from your unboxing video, the return shipping charges will be refunded along with your order amount. You won't be out of pocket for something that wasn't your fault.

What we don't offer
No exchanges. No returns for change of mind. No cancellations once an order has been dispatched.
For commissioned poems specifically — once writing has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. The poem is being written for you and only you. That work doesn't stop existing just because plans change.

A honest note
We're a small brand built by one person who cares deeply about what leaves this door. If something arrives wrong, we're not going to make you fight for a resolution. Just show us what happened and we'll sort it.
