Seasons

I wrote this poem for the days when life feels unfairly slow.

When everyone around you seems to be arriving somewhere while you are still waiting for your turn. Waiting for the right opportunity, the right love, the right version of yourself to finally appear.

But somewhere along the way, I started wondering:

what if our happiness was never stolen from us?

What if it is simply taking a little longer to arrive?

This poem became a small reminder I needed for myself — that delayed does not mean denied. That some seasons bloom later than others. And that maybe, just maybe, our brighter days are still making their way toward us.

So if life currently feels behind schedule,

I hope these words sit beside you gently until your time arrives too.
